YP CoNext @ASU:
YP CoNext @ASU YP CoNext at ASU is a mentoring program originated from the Greater Phoenix Urban League Young Professionals (YP) to build intentional relationships between college students and young Black professionals. This program provides opportunities for personal growth, community connections, and psychosocial development–that enhances participants’ esteem and interpersonal skills–through mentoring partnerships that promote the transition from student to young Black professional.
Black Career Women’s Network:
“Black Career Women’s Network (BCWN) is a national career development organization dedicated to fostering the professional growth of black women. Since 2012, we have helped thousands of Black Career Women across the country gain clarity and confidence to execute proven strategies to create the change they want to see in their careers.”
Congressional Black Caucus Foundation:
“CBCF’s internship programs prepare college students and young professionals to become principled leaders, skilled policy analysts, and informed advocates by exposing them to the processes that develop national policies and implement them – from Capitol Hill to federal field offices.”
American Indian Student Support Services:
AISSS provides services to all Indigenous students to ensure they will successfully progress towards educational excellence and graduate to become self-reliant individuals who effectively give back to their families and communities.
Udall Foundation: Native American Congressional Internship:
“The Native American Congressional Internship Program provides American Indian and Alaska Native students with the opportunity to gain practical experience with the federal legislative process in order to understand first-hand the government-to-government relationship between Tribes and the federal government.”
First Alaskans Institute: Summer Internship Program:
The First Alaskans Institute (FAI) 2022 Summer Internship Program (SIP) places Alaska Native, American Indian, Indigenous and rural community members and students into organizations around Alaska to provide leadership growth and employment experience and exploration.

“On programming days, interns will have a full day centered on CHCI’s four Pillars of Leadership—Civic Engagement, Social Responsibility, Self Empowerment, and Promoting Community and Hispanic Culture. During these weekly sessions, participation in discussions surrounding issues that affect the Latino community will help interns explore a variety topics while building strong relationships that can help throughout their career.”

“The Congressional Internship is designed for AA & NH/PI undergraduate-aged students looking to increase their experience in public policy and service. The paid internship program places interns in congressional offices and provides them with the opportunity to develop their leadership and professional skills, encourages political engagement, and fosters interests in public service careers.
The APAICS Congressional Fellowship is designed for young AAPI professionals looking to increase their experience in public policy and service. The full-time paid, 9-month program places fellows in congressional offices to gain policy experience as part of the legislative team. The program provides fellows with opportunities to build their leadership skills, encourages political engagement, and fosters interest in a public service career.
