Attending this workshop will give you a greater knowledge of how to effectively search for jobs and internships. This two-part session will present strategies for finding employment in the U.S. as well as in your home country or a third country. We will discuss the importance of considering and preparing for all options.

We will discuss the power of networking, as well as strategies and resources that will help you find the job/internship you are seeking. Through utilizing Handshake and LinkedIn as supporting platforms, we will show you how to make the most of opportunity searching in the U.S. While many international students find internships and full time opportunities in the United States, it is also important to develop a strategy for returning to your home country or for going to a country outside of the U.S. Job markets can vary significantly from country to country, so it is important to do your research and be informed. In this session you will learn about resources and tools to help you successfully research international job markets and navigate a job search in another country outside of the United States as well.
