CWHC is hiring a new member of our Counseling team!
The Staff Counselor: Groups Focus (40 hours/week) provides counseling services using a feminist-relational framework, helps shape and support the Counseling program, and participates in a 45+ year old feminist collective. We are looking for candidates who align closely with the mission of Chicago Women’s Health Center and who can join us in clinical work as well as strategic imagining and planning for the future.
As a member of CWHC’s Counseling Committee, the Staff Counselor will maintain a caseload of 3-4 groups per year as well as individual counseling clients, consult with other counselors and programs to facilitate integrative care, and help support CWHC’s health services and culture. By adding to the number of full-time counselors at CWHC, the Staff Counselor will support the increase of our Counseling team’s capacity to serve clients and provide mental health care.
The Staff Counselor position is 40 hours/week at $23-$25/hour (rate will be based on experience). The person in this position will be considered a full-time collective member of CWHC. This will be a hybrid remote and on-site position.
