We are seeking dedicated individuals with a thorough understanding of college level mathematics and a passion for supporting students to join our team. The current vacancy is located in the Black Collegians/Latino Center and will focus on understanding the specific needs of African-American, Latino students and other groups experiencing equity gaps. This position is scheduled to work 40 hours per week, 11 months per year on the Santa Monica College main campus.

What You Will Bring to the College
Our ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience working with Black/African American and/or Latino populations in higher education. They will have a thorough understanding of college level mathematics including algebra, trigonometry and calculus and the ability to apply tutoring practices to support students of different backgrounds with varying levels of subject proficiency in both in-person and online environments.
