Dakota is a Career & Industry Specialist in Career & Professional Development Services. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with an emphasis in Military Psychology at the University of Northern Iowa and received her Masters of Education (M.Ed.) in Higher and Post-Secondary Education Administration from Arizona State University. Dakota has a passion for helping veterans translate their unique experiences with employers across all industries. She found her passion in working with veterans when she was fostering service dogs at Retrieving Freedom, Inc. in Waverly, Iowa. She has specific expertise in assisting veterans transitioning into law enforcement, emergency medical services, fire services, and behavioral health services.

Natalie is a Career Veteran Advocate with Career & Professional Development Services and the Pat Tillman Veteran Center. Natalie served 10 years with the United States Navy as an Aviation Electrician. She graduated ASU in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Healthy Lifestyles Coaching and is currently pursing her certificate in Entrepreneurship & Innovation. She is also a certified life coach. Natalie is passionate about helping veterans find appropriate resources to be career-ready when entering the workforce. She is also an active member in the Women Veterans Club.
